Dexter Freebish – Twilight
Its been a really good break from Camp and from work and from everything.
Friday night was a 4J outing, the first, since god knows when. It was nice meeting up, but not that nice hearing people rant about things. It was supposed to be a celebration after all! But it was okay in the end, ate, talked, played the arcade like little kids. We were sad about the lack of neoprints, so we went to take one at the ID photo thingy, which was epic. Imagine 6 overgrown kids trying to squeeze into the small ass booth. Haha, that was awesome.
Saturday, went back to PLC, sat through a long ass boring AAR. But i learnt a bit, more on how to deal with things, and how to think Operationally. Not the systems and crap we learnt in schools, but to think of it as a proper operation. His analogies were questionable, but i think it got the point across pretty damn well.
Rushed home with a ride from Sgt Chia, then rushed off to Dhoby for HS’s birthday. Playnation! Yay. Sat around for an hour or so before starting on Band Hero. 😀 Love the songs, love the difficulty. Went to Paper Market with Grace after that to stock up on card supplies.
Sunday! CNY Eve dinner, just a normal steamboat this year, without the BBQ. Haha, but it was good anyway. Before the CNY days itself. Woke up really late, hahaha. But had the usual Tang Shui and went off, to the paternal side. Saw a lot more people than usual this time! Had lunch there, and waited for the rain to stop, before moving off to the maternal side.
Met up with the cousins! The best part of every new year. Talked and talked and talked. And took insane amounts of photos, too bad most were bad. Went for dinner at Seafood Paradise, and it was pretty good! Too much food, 10 persons servings for the 7 of us. But it was good. Ate and talked. Then went back, for gambling, and alcohol. And that was the end of the first day of the new year. Earned 11 bucks! Hahaha.
Day 2 was essentially wasted, so. Haha, nothing more to say.
Day 3 today! Went to school, and waited almost an hour for someone to arrive. Hahaha. Terrible. Went to the Hall for a while, before deciding to join Senior High in the PAC. But it was boring with all the chineseness. Haha. Went to the Staff Room proper, and talked to a whole bunch of teachers, starting with Mrs Bok, then Mr Melvyn Tan, then Mdm Grace Ong and Mrs Koh. Its been a long time. Also met with Mr Tiah, and some other teachers. Haha.
Had lunch at Bugis after that where Jia Hui and Wei Liang and i talked about studies, people, marriage, and a whole bunch of other things.
